MM166: Apple’s New iPods, iTunes, Ping and New Apple TV

Yesterday was a big day for Apple and that’s an understatement. As most of you have heard by now, Apple had their annual Fall event to go over their new products right in time for the holiday shopping season – but this time, this event wasn’t just a new iPod upgrade – it had something for everyone, including iPhone and iPad owners as well as those who want their HD TVs revolutionized with a tiny but powerful new set-top box called the new Apple TV.
In fact, there is so much to cover, this is one of our longest episodes yet – so please don’t let that scare you as I promise you, Apple’s new gadgets and software coming out in the next few weeks will revolutionize your digital life – which is what the Moxie Mo Show is all about.
So where do we begin? Windows Phone 7 podrá ser compatible con Xbox Live

Microsoft ha anunciado la primera oleada de juegos para el Windows Phone 7, aseguraron que serán lanzados al menos los primeros 50 títulos y según aseguraron los juegos podrán ser compatibles con Xbox Live, algunos juegos serán versiones del Xbox pasadas al Windows Phone 7 pero otros serán completamente nuevos.
Microsoft planea apoyarse del Xbox Live para sacar a flote su nuevo modelo de teléfono inteligente que con esa calidad de juegos más bien va a parecer una consola portátil diseñada para hacerle competencia al PSP de Sony.
Halo: Waypoint será uno de los juegos que será lanzado para el Windows Phone 7 y al parecer podrá jugarse de manera Online contra otras personas, los juegos ofrecerán pequeñas variaciones con respecto a las versiones de la consola Xbox.
Con esta estrategia planean usar la integración del Xbox Live con los juegos de su teléfono inteligente para impulsar las ventas de verano, aunque también es evidente que tienen muchas posibilidades de tomar el puesto que ahora ocupa el PSP o el Nintendo DS los cuales los los lideres en ventas de consolas de video juegos portátiles, aunque cabe destacar que Sony no piensa quedarse atrás y posiblemente en Octubre lancen al mercado su Smartphone PSP Phone con lo que competirían con los iPhone de Apple y otros teléfonos inteligentes. Solo falta que Nintendo Saque al mercado su propio modelo de Smartphone.

Mark Papermaster quien fuera el desarrollador del sistema de antena del iPhone 4 fue destituido de su cargo por causar el error que hace que los iPhone 4 se queden sin señal si se toman con la mano de una cierta manera.
Este error fue tratado de hacerle parecer como un pequeño error sin importancia , incluso steve job dijo que la solucion era sencilla y que simplemente deberiamos acostumbrarnos a tomar el telefono de una manera distinta, lo que no fue del agrado de los consumidores pues no estan dispuestos a pagar mas de 500 dolares por un telefono el cual no funciona correctamente.
El iPhone 4 cuanta sin duda con la tecnologia mas avanzada que hasta el momento se puede conseguir pero todos esos avances tecnologicos se ven opacados por el gravisimo error de calculo en el sistema de señal del iphone4, este error podria trascender por varias decadas como uno de los grandes errores que cometió Apple en su historia, aunque dado el gran numero de quejas y malas calificaciones de expertos por causa de ese error en la antena. Este error puede incluso llegar a estar incluido como uno de los peores desastres del mundo de los negocios en cuestion del lanzamiento de un producto nuevo al mercado, otro buen ejemplo seria Microsoft quienes sacaron al mercado su consola de Vídeo juegos Xbox 360 la cual tiene el famoso error conocido como “el Aro de la Muerte” o “el anillo rojo” este error segun se filtro información desde dentro de la empresa ya se tenia conocimiento de este error pero aun a si decidieron sacarlo al mercado para evitar perder terreno con sus competidores.
